Our Day Training Programs:
1. Standard Day Training & Puppy Foundations
Ideal for puppies (8+ weeks) and adult dogs needing manners, obedience, and socialization.
Rate: $90 per day.
Daily rates cover our standard program. Highly specialized or intensive care needs can be discussed during your free consultation.
2. Service Dog Day Training
Comprehensive training for all stages and types of service dogs, including public access skills.
Optional Suitability Assessment: $55
First Day (New Prospects without Assessment): $90 (standard rate, serves as an initial evaluation).
We are committed to ethical training and will only proceed with suitable candidates.
Day Rate: $120 per day.
A Day at Painted Dog Training: Days are dynamic and tailored, typically including one on one training, managed play/socialization, enriching walks on our wooded trails, and important rest periods.
Program Details & Pricing:
- Standard Hours: Flexible window for drop-off/pick-up (6am – 7pm).
- Extended Hours: +$15 (Up to 1.5 hours before/after standard hours).
- Overnight Care (for established clients): +$30 per night + daily training rate. (Drop-off after 3 PM, pick-up before 11 AM if not training for the day).
- Specialized Field Trips: $15 – $45 (Unique outings beyond routine public access training for service dogs; discussed in advance).
- Initial Consultation: FREE! (for standard clients)
- Package Discount: 15% OFF multi-week programs (4, 8, or 12 weeks) or full Mon-Wed week bookings (paid upfront).
Key Policies:
- Capacity: Max 2 dogs daily, a third only if from the same household
- Payment: Due at drop off; packages upfront for discount.
- Cancellations: Reschedule if notice given by 1 hour after scheduled drop off. No refunds/reschedules for no shows or late cancellations.
- Admission: Minimum of 8 weeks old, current vaccinations. No extreme aggression/anxiety.
